Terms of use.

1. Agreement

By creating an account, or by using PomoZentra in guest mode, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. Where you use PomoZentra for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Who operates the service

PomoZentra is operated by Nozentra, an independent product studio. Contact: info@pomozentra.com.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. PomoZentra is not directed at children.

4. Your account

Sign-in is through Google. We never see or hold a password, so the security of your account depends on the security of your Google account. Keep it protected, and tell us at info@pomozentra.com if you believe someone else has reached your PomoZentra data.

You are responsible for what is done through your account, and for the accuracy of what you log. The product measures what you tell it.

5. What you may use it for

Planning and reviewing your own focused work, whether that is for a job, a business you run, or study. One account is for one person's use.

6. What you may not do

The acceptable use policy sets this out in full and forms part of these terms. In summary: do not attempt to reach data that is not yours, do not interfere with or overload the service, do not bypass access controls, do not use it for unlawful activity, and do not resell access or present PomoZentra as your own product.

7. Your content

Everything you put into PomoZentra remains yours. We claim no ownership of your work areas, plans, task titles, notes or logs. We store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

You can export everything as CSV or JSON at any time, and delete it yourself from Settings.

8. Our software and brand

The application, the website, the interface, the name PomoZentra and the Nozentra brand remain ours. These terms give you permission to use the service as it is offered, and nothing more. They do not transfer any ownership, and they do not permit copying the product, reselling it, or reverse engineering it to build something competing.

9. Third-party services

PomoZentra relies on other providers to run: hosting, database, authentication, error monitoring, analytics and email. They are named in the privacy policy. Their own terms govern their services, and an outage or change at one of them can affect PomoZentra in ways we do not control.

Signing in uses Google. Your relationship with Google is governed by Google's terms, not ours.

10. Availability

There is no uptime guarantee and no service level agreement. PomoZentra is an early-access product and may be unavailable for maintenance, because of a fault, or because a provider we depend on is having a problem. We work to keep it reliable, but we will not promise something we cannot underwrite.

Your workspace is held in your browser as well as on the server, so a short outage usually does not stop you working.

11. Changes to the product

The product changes often, and features may be added, altered or withdrawn while it is in early access. Anything that materially affects how you use it will be communicated before it changes, and everything released is recorded on the changelog.

12. Cost, and possible future paid features

The service is currently available without charge, and no payment method is collected. We may introduce optional paid features, plans or services in the future. If we do, the price and payment terms will be presented before you buy or subscribe to anything, and no charge will ever occur without an explicit decision by you.

We are not promising that every current feature remains free forever, and we are not publishing a price we have not decided. Any pricing change will be communicated clearly before it takes effect. Refund, renewal and cancellation terms will be published at the point payments become possible, and not before, because writing them now would describe a system that does not exist.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using PomoZentra at any time and delete your account yourself from Settings. See the data deletion page for what that removes.

We may suspend or end access where the acceptable use policy has been broken, where activity puts other users or the service at risk, or where we are required to by law. Except where that is impractical or unlawful, we will tell you why, and you will still be able to request an export of your data.

We may also discontinue the service entirely. If that happens we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data first.

14. Disclaimers

PomoZentra is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. In particular we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will produce any particular outcome for your productivity, your income or your work. It is a measurement tool. What you do with the measurement is yours.

The numbers it shows are calculated from what you log. They are only as accurate as your own answers.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nozentra is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data arising from your use of PomoZentra. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Because the service is currently provided free of charge, and because you can export your data at any time, we strongly recommend keeping your own export if the record matters to you.

16. Indemnity

If your use of PomoZentra in breach of these terms causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to be responsible for it, to the extent the law allows.

17. Governing law and disputes

If something goes wrong, the fastest route by a wide margin is to email info@pomozentra.com, and we will try to resolve it directly. The governing law and forum for any formal dispute will be stated here before PomoZentra leaves early access or begins taking payment, and we would rather leave this open than name a jurisdiction we have not confirmed.

Nothing in these terms removes any consumer rights you have under the law where you live.

18. Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the terms need to change, and update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the changelog, and for anything that significantly affects your rights we will tell account holders directly. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
