The core idea

A full calendar is not a good day.

Most timers reward you for sitting still. You finish eight sprints and feel productive — but four of them were inbox triage and one was a rabbit hole.

PomoZentra asks a sharper question after every sprint: what did that block actually produce? Emails sent. Calls booked. Tasks shipped. Then it scores the day — rewarding the work that moves the business, logging waste honestly, and showing you exactly where your best hours went.

Output, not hours.
What's inside

Everything you need to defend your focus — and prove it paid off.

The Interval timer

A calm capsule that fills as your sprint runs — no anxious clock face. Default 25 / 5 cadence, fully adjustable, with a hard stop that actually makes you stop.

Output logging

When the sprint ends, log real units — proposals sent, replies, calls booked, tasks shipped — against the day's targets. Five seconds, and it's the whole point.

Six work categories

Revenue, Delivery, Admin, Learning, Personal and Waste — every block is honestly tagged, coloured, and weighted in your score.

Daily output score

One honest number per day, relative to your own plan. Revenue work scores high, admin is capped, waste costs you — so the score can't be gamed by looking busy.

Weekly rotation planner

Pre-allocate sprints per category per day. Heavy outbound Monday, delivery midweek — save the plans you like and reuse them as templates.

Trends, reports & export

See output by day and week, spot the patterns behind your best days, share a day card, and export the full record as CSV when you need receipts.

How it works

Three moves. Every block.

01

Pick one thing & start the clock

Choose a single task, tag its category, and hit start. One block, one thing — no multitasking, no negotiating with yourself.

02

Log what you produced

When the interval completes, record the output — 18 cold emails, 2 replies, 1 call booked. It takes five seconds and it's the whole point.

03

Read your honest score

At day's end you get one number and a breakdown — where your focus went, what it produced, and what to fix tomorrow.

The scoring system

Not all focus is equal. Your score knows it.

Every sprint lands in one of six categories. Revenue and delivery build the business and score high. Admin and learning are necessary but capped. Personal is logged without penalty. Waste is logged honestly — and it costs you six points. That's what keeps the number real.

Revenue

Sales, outbound, offers. Directly creates revenue.

Delivery

Client work, fulfilling contracts, shipping product.

Admin

Inbox, ops, billing, planning. Necessary, capped.

Learning

Courses, books, deliberate study tied to a goal.

Personal

Errands, family, fitness. Logged, no penalty.

Waste

Scrolling, doomloops. Honest log — it costs you.

Built around how you work

Start from a role, then make it yours.

Pick a starting template and PomoZentra seeds your categories, a sensible first task list, and a weekly rotation. Change anything — it's a starting point, not a cage.

Founder

Revenue, delivery, and enough admin containment to keep the business moving.

Revenue Delivery Admin

Freelancer

Client delivery plus enough pipeline work to keep next month healthy.

Sales Client work Admin

Creator

Publishing, audience growth and monetization without letting admin eat the day.

The method

The focus sprint, rebuilt for people who answer to a P&L.

The focus-sprint rhythm makes starting cheap and quitting expensive. But founders have a problem students don't: the most comfortable work is rarely the most valuable. PomoZentra keeps the rhythm and adds the one thing it's missing — a measure of what each block produced.

Questions

Frequently asked

What is PomoZentra?
PomoZentra is a focus timer combined with an output tracker. You run focused sprints, log what you actually produced — emails sent, calls booked, tasks shipped — and get a daily score weighted toward the work that moves the business.
How is it different from a normal Pomodoro timer?
A normal timer counts minutes. PomoZentra counts output. Every sprint is tagged to a category and tied to real units of work, so your score reflects what got produced — not how long you sat at your desk.
Is PomoZentra free?
Yes. The core timer, output logging, categories, the daily score, the weekly rotation planner and CSV / JSON export of your data are all free. A planned Pro tier adds long-term trends, saved rotation templates and the share card — and it's free for everyone during the beta.
Do I have to use the 25 / 5 intervals?
No. 25 / 5 is the default because it works, but every interval is adjustable. Some founders run 50 / 10 for deep delivery work and tighter 15-minute bursts for outbound.
Who is PomoZentra for?
Solo founders, freelancers and indie hackers who need to spend their best hours on revenue and want an honest record of where their focus actually went. Role templates for Founder, Freelancer and Creator get you started in a tap.
