Cookies and browser storage.
Every cookie and storage item PomoZentra sets, what it is for and how long it lasts. There is no advertising, no retargeting and no third-party tracking anywhere on this site. Last updated August 1, 2026.
These marketing pages set no analytics, advertising or tracking storage, so there is nothing optional to ask you about. The app uses analytics and local storage, and those are listed below.
What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This page also covers similar technologies, mainly local storage, which the app uses far more than cookies. We treat both the same way here, because from your point of view they are both data kept on your device.
On this marketing site
The pages at pomozentra.com carry no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no social widgets and no third-party trackers. The only items that can appear are these:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pz_gate | Cookie, strictly necessary | Records that you entered the access code for a gated page. Without it the gate cannot let you through | Session based, cleared when you clear site data |
| pz_auth | Cookie, functional | A yes or no flag set by the app so the site shows "Open app" instead of "Start free" when you are already signed in. It holds no personal data and is never trusted for access | 30 days |
Neither is used to track you, build a profile, or share anything with another company. If you never enter an access code and never sign in, this site stores nothing on your device at all.
In the application
app.pomozentra.com needs storage to work, because your workspace is held on your device first and synced afterwards.
| What | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your workspace | Local storage, strictly necessary | Work areas, weekly plans, logged blocks and settings, so the app opens instantly and keeps working when the connection drops | Until you sign out or clear site data |
| Timer state | Local storage, strictly necessary | Lets a running block survive a refresh or a closed tab | Until the block ends or you clear site data |
| Sign-in session | Managed by our authentication provider, strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in between visits | Until sign-out or expiry |
| Theme preference | Local storage, functional | Remembers light or dark mode on that device. Deliberately not synced | Until cleared |
| Dismissed prompts | Local storage, functional | Remembers that you dismissed the notification prompt so it stops reappearing | Until cleared |
| Product analytics | Local storage, analytics | Page views and feature usage counts, so we can see which parts of the product are used. Session replay is switched off, so your screen is never recorded | Provider retention schedule |
Third parties
Signing in with Google may cause Google to set its own cookies as part of the authentication flow. Those are controlled by Google under its own policies, not by us. Beyond that, no third party sets or reads storage through PomoZentra. There is no advertising network, no remarketing tag and no social tracking pixel anywhere in the product or the site.
Your choices
- Clear everything: use your browser's site-data settings for pomozentra.com and app.pomozentra.com. This signs you out and removes the local copy of your workspace.
- Browse privately: a private or incognito window keeps all of it session-only.
- Block storage entirely: your browser can do this, but be aware that blocking strictly necessary storage stops sign-in and the timer from working, because the product genuinely depends on it.
- Analytics: the analytics in the app respects your browser's Do Not Track and global privacy signals where they are sent. If you would rather be excluded entirely, email us and we will do it.
Signing out of the app clears the local copy of your workspace from that browser, which is worth doing on a shared computer.
Why there is no consent banner today
We audited what the site and the app actually store before writing this page. The marketing site sets nothing optional, so a banner would ask permission for something that is not happening, which is worse than not asking. The app's storage is either strictly necessary for the product to function, or a preference you set yourself, with one exception: product analytics.
If we add advertising, retargeting, embedded third-party content, or analytics beyond aggregate usage counts, a proper consent mechanism goes in before the change ships rather than after. We would rather add the banner when it is genuinely required than run a decorative one now.
Keeping this page accurate
This list is checked whenever storage behaviour changes, and the date at the top is updated with it. If you find something stored that is not listed here, that is a bug in this page and we would like to know: info@pomozentra.com.
